Highly successful and Impressive Business Development/National Account Manager based in Kent with national coverage – looking for £35k with a view to starting a new Business Development role from mid May 2021 – 4 years in current role.
Day-to-day contact for 60 National Accounts – Levy Apprenticeships across 527 sites. Managing and establishing strong working relationships with key decision makers; Last contract year they were responsible for achieving 250 starts equalling £3.7 million and for this current year to date 190 starts equalling £3.4 million.
Responsible for brokering training solutions; understanding client’s needs and preparing and presenting appropriate solutions in collaboration with internal colleagues and external partners; Accountable for achieving growth targets for assigned National Accounts, through the expansion of current product take-up and extension into new opportunities e.g. apprenticeship programmes. Responsible for managing concerns and queries from National Accounts; liaising with colleagues and partners in resolving concerns and queries; Responsible for identifying and engaging with new prospective employers at Director, Managing Director and Operation Manager level. Identifying and establishing relationships with key decision makers and preparing and presenting business proposals to potential new National Accounts;
Previous to this role my candidate was an employer engagement manager for 5 years in Skills and Employability.
Managed the Apprenticeship Programme on behalf of the Council, which had an annual intake of 100 Apprentices.
