£40k+ working with LPG’s, in Employability, Community development/support, Civil Service, Administration, Charity based organisations – my candidate is open to opportunities within lots of sectors

I am exclusively representing an experienced and driven Operations manager who possess 2+ years’ experience in a management position and 7+ years within the Employability sector across multiple contracts and delivery models. Offers a proven track record of high performance against targets, managing multiple contracts simultaneously to meet and exceed the commissioners’ expectations, whilst also driving business growth and profitability, ensuring the effective and smooth running of the operations team.

Achieved numerous promotions over the course of employment with a fantastic training provider, highlighting dedication to career progression and passion for driving the company agenda. Whilst also experienced in operating across multiple areas of the business including continuous improvement, contract implementation and business development.

Leading a team of up to 8 business managers (70 Employment Advisers) across JETS NE, 1 partnership manager and 1 project manager to achieve optimum results across Money & Pensions Service- TLD. Currently achieving 241% of targeted Job Entry 1st notification target and 286% of targeted Job Outcome performance on JETS NE, whilst also successfully delivering MaPS – Talk Learn Do training to 225 practitioners across 68 organisations and 378 parents/carers, successfully closing contract with a value of £333,000. Designed and delivered MaPS research Consultation for phase 2 of Talk Learn Do delivery with a contract value of £10,000. They are the Only Operations Manager to close 4 cohorts at Gold Standard conversation rates and ranked as top performing internal region.

  • Conducting vulnerability assessments on a bi-monthly basis, producing countermeasures when issues arose
  • Providing weekly updates in the form of data analysis to the commissioners providing oversight of contract movement and succession
  • Identifying skills gaps in team and provide support to develop these skills using 1-2-1 and group coaching sessions
  • Ensuring management team possess a full understanding of business needs, auditing, compliance, tracking progress towards goals, and measuring analytics of profit and loss
  • Completing accurate key performance indicators forecasts on a weekly/monthly basis
  • Designing and implementing cohort trackers to ensure teams work towards 55% JE conversion per cohort
  • All aspects of succession planning, inclusive of holding monthly meetings with HR to discuss methods of improving skill set or disciplinary related concerns
  • Cascading information and disseminating company briefings ensuring all Co-Members’ commitment to the programme, whilst generating ideas through the strategic use of team meetings
  • Managing attendance including completing return to work interviews, processing leaver requests and sickness records in line with company policies inclusive of holding disciplinaries
  • Using MI data to review performance and forecast accurately, whilst identifying early trends or concerns to ensure urgent remedial actions are put in place
  • Monitoring the financial health of each contract inclusive of invoicing commissioners in line with payment milestones
  • Motivating teams to remain effective within their position and develop forward thinking plans in line with fluctuating market trends
  • Supporting teams to actively move caseloads to a job ready position by breaking down participant barriers to employment
  • Holding disciplinary meetings as and when required, reviewing all evidence presented and making a judgment on the basis of probability and in the interest of all Co-Members
  • Monitoring customer service and resolving escalated complaints as and when required
  • Developing and supporting with bid writing for future business opportunities, inclusive of monitoring Government updates for new available tenders
  • Attending and chairing regular meetings with the commissioner
  • Managing supply chain support for writing of programmes bi-annual evaluation ensuring all information was correct before being cascaded to the commissioner.
