 An accomplished Digital Skills Trainer and Technical Educator with over 20 years’ experience spanning IT support, technical training, cyber security, DevOps, apprenticeship delivery, and digital transformation. My candidate combines a strong hands-on technical background with exceptional coaching, curriculum design, and learner development expertise.

Just recently they were responsible for designing and delivering innovative apprenticeship programmes across ICT, Cyber Security, DevOps and AI, they have an outstanding record of learner success. Most notably, they have guided DevOps apprentice cohorts to a 100% End-Point Assessment pass rate, with a significant proportion achieving Distinction grades. They have also designed multiple apprenticeship pathways from the ground up, ensuring alignment with apprenticeship standards, employer requirements and Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours (KSBs).

An experienced curriculum developer, they have successfully created and launched Level 3 and Level 4 programmes, while leading the development of emerging AI-focused learning pathways. Alongside programme design, they manage immersive learning environments, develop engaging digital content, deliver technical bootcamps, conduct learner reviews, assess portfolios, provide pastoral support, and coach apprentices throughout their learning journey.

Prior to moving into education, my candidate built a solid technical career within IT support and infrastructure, progressing through desktop support, systems administration and user administration roles. Their practical experience includes Windows desktop and server environments, Microsoft 365, Exchange, Citrix, Active Directory administration, hardware deployment, software support, telecommunications systems, security systems, and end-user training.

They are equally comfortable delivering training in classroom, virtual and immersive environments and have a reputation for making complex technical concepts accessible to learners of all abilities. A confident communicator with excellent stakeholder management skills, they build strong relationships with apprentices, employers and colleagues alike.

 Technically, my candidate has knowledge across Microsoft 365, Windows 7–11, Windows Server, Exchange Server, Citrix, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, Panopto, Linux Essentials, CompTIA Security+, AI fundamentals, networking, cyber security and digital skills training. Their qualifications include ITIL Foundation, CompTIA A+, Security+, Microsoft AI-900, Microsoft AZ-900, Cisco ITE, LPI Linux Essentials, Level 3 Award in Education and Training, and they are nearing completion of a Level 5 Learning and Skills Teacher qualification.
