My candidate is an impressive Employment and Skills Trainer / Vocational Tutor from Teeside, on the market now for a new permanent role and team to impress £26k+ Open to various roles including trainer, skill trainer, employability and skills trainer, vocational trainer and Training manager.

“With nearly 10 years experience in training delivery, garnered from the private and Welfare to Work sectors, they have a lot to bring to their next employer –  Currently delivering training packages to a diverse learner base across a range of personal, vocational  knowledge and employment skills.

Consistently achieving KPI’s in a number of areas including, learner retention, recognition of leaner journey and above 95% compliance in all business and funding stream audits.  This has lead to a score of “1” (over-achieving) over consecutive months, contributing to the business receiving  a grade 2 “Good” in a very recent Ofsted report

Recognises individual learning styles, captured by VAK, and ensuring that all learners are included in the learning journey.

Developed learning materials that can be applied to the inclusion of diverse learning group. In addition, they created a number of workshops for existing staff members in order to facilitate the sharing of best practices and deliver in-house training on specific subjects.

Responsible for creating ad hoc MI to determine success rates of learner outcomes, attendance and other relevant KPI’s.

Whilst they were a training/team manager in private sector, they created and delivered a training program as part of the establishment of a new contact centre within The Group.  Embedded training with ongoing continuous development, whilst increasing centre workload.  Delivered Sector Based Work Academies throughout the North East, at various CCP sites, successfully developed learner skills to aid their employment search and entry into sustained employment, exceeding company KPI’s.

  • Developed and delivered training plans that cater to individual learning styles.
  • Demonstrated the ability to liaise with different employers to ascertain their employment needs.  Delivered training in a variety of methods, encouraging cohort engagement and participation.
  • Conducted regular 1 to 1 with learners to review their progress against set targets and maximise individual potential.
  • Ensured that all training material was available when required, scheduled time to complete OFSTED paperwork to an auditable standard.
  • Demonstrated flexibility to successfully undertake recruitment practices for specific employers, with a minimum of disruption to the scheduled training elements.
  • Created training materials for a number of employer demand-led training courses;  ensuring brand awareness, engagement of learner and allowing for differing learning styles.
