My candidate holds an MSc in Health Psychology and a BSc in Psychology from London Metropolitan University, in addition to degrees in English Philology, Law & Administration, and Teaching English from universities in Europe. They are currently serving as a Team Leader & Hub Operations Manager for the Drug & Alcohol Service at in London. In this role, they manage multi-disciplinary teams and ensures efficient hub operations while fostering strong partnerships with local services and stakeholders to improve client outcomes and reduce health inequalities.   My candidate possesses strong IT skills, is proficient in multiple languages, and has undergone continuous professional development in areas like NLP, CBT, smoking cessation, and safeguarding. My candidate has also volunteered as a psychology advisor and newsletter writer and is a reviewer for the Psychology, Health & Medicine Journal.

  • Operational management of multi-disciplinary teams, e.g. Recovery Workers, Criminal Justice team, Family & Carers, Group Workers -supporting recovery of individuals with complex addiction needs.
  • Ensuring the efficient running of the Hub by managing the Rota, arranging cover, liaising with clinical staff, e.g. nurses, NMPs and Prescribers.
  • Providing coaching, supervisions, Appraisals, performance, target & caseload monitoring, identifying CPD needs.
  • Supporting staff with additional needs through Reasonable Adjustments, Flexible Working, Stress Risk Reviews, Support Action Planning. Risk Assessments, Welfare Meetings.
  • Building and maintain strong partnerships with local services, e.g. IPS Employment Specialists, DWP Peer Mentors, Release, Hestia, GPs, social services, housing and community organizations, multi-agency stakeholders to increase referrals, engagement and to improve service access, client outcomes and to reduce health inequalities.
  • Attending and chairing external and internal MDT meetings,

– Provides therapeutic sessions aimed at behaviour change and emotional health improvement, while also delivering comprehensive health and psychology training.

– Led a borough-wide behaviour change and wellbeing service, focusing on reducing health disparities and ensuring consistency with national health standards.

– Delivered personalised health behaviour change sessions targeting health inequalities whilst maintaining partnerships with social, voluntary, and NHS service providers.

– Formerly directed a methodology department, combining teaching responsibilities with innovative educational programme delivery.

  • Therapeutic one-to-one sessions for behaviour change, such as developing healthy eating habits, increasing physical activity, reducing of alcohol intake, smoking cessation. Therapeutic sessions for emotional health, such as lowering stress and depression, increasing self-esteem & confidence, and motivation.
  • Delivering health and psychology training, such as person-centered employability interventions, conflict management, confidence building, body language, communication skills, adherence to medication and mindfulness, to staff and service users.
