On the market now – Woking based Experienced Operations Manager (Employability) promoted from Business Manager.  Their Employability Contract will soon be coming to an end.

  • Responsible for overseeing 3 sites, 5 business managers, 30 employment advisers.
  • People coaching, motivation and development
  • Performance management including periodic performance reviews, KPI monitoring, team strategizing, team meetings, regional monthly wrap ups
  • Stakeholder management including working with employer engagement team, partnership managers, JCPs, delivery partners
  • Using MI (Power BI) to analyze data to inform decisions
  • Finance budgeting, forecasting, reporting
  • Quality and continuous improvement including monitoring customer satisfaction surveys via internal functions and the DWP, monthly quality steering meetings, driving evaluation of service responses and results, monitoring quality with file checks and observations
  • Advising and responding appropriately with regards to safeguarding
  • Championed accountability and responsibility from advisers upwards

Key Achievements:

  • Implemented a KPI tracker to aid the managers in tracking their KPIS and drive accountability for advisers – this has led to growth in all areas in my first quarter (October-December)
  • Employability Skills Training:
  • Drove monthly submission days across my teams, this created the highest submissions to our digital inclusion training in one month
  • Created and delivered weekly regional coaching alongside managers in various subjects including managing missed appointments, how to sell delivery support workshops, how to increase CV submissions and interviews
  • Delivered business manager training on getting the most out of Power BI – this has led to full reporting and understanding of KPIs, driving these figures upwards
  • My region has held the highest monthly average job entries per Employment Adviser per month at 6

In their Business Manager role ;Key Achievements:

  • Developed a tailored plan for my team to reach our highest monthly cohort target of 81 job entries between five EAs – exceeded this by eight
  • Contract to date conversion rate of 76% – 2% higher than contract average
  • Average performance of 5.5 job entries per EA per month, exceeding contractual average of 4
  • Reached gold standard for cohort performance on job entries, 1st notifications and outcomes for four months, as well as hit standard cohort performance on all other month’s contract to date
  • Completed all modules on in-house management academy
  • Received ‘high performing’ in most recent two quarterly reviews, invited to VIP event to celebrate high achievement
  • Delivered training seminars to groups of 50+ new starters
