Are you a natural experienced Adult Tutor? Do you enjoy developing new creative lesson plans and looking for new ways to engage with adults? Do you have an understanding of various teaching styles and activities to ensure a quality learning experience? Have you had experience of planning and supporting the learner in their individual learning journey? The Main purpose of the role of Adult Tutor will be to provide a learning and employability framework to Adult learners, ensuring the attainment of positive outcomes through the delivery of classroom and employability training.

Conduct initial interviews including assessment activities with participants using a range of tools
To work with groups of participants in a training room environment to develop employability and confidence skills
Complete and maintain accurate records including the ‘individual employability plan’ to the minimum required standards.
Deliver sessions which include direct teaching and the use of a variety of teaching strategies/ methodologies to support delivery of both classroom and placement based teaching and assessment.
Develop and utilise lesson plans for each session incorporating topics relating to whole class teaching, individual, paired, group and differentiated activities
Provide focused support to those participants who are pre-entry level, vulnerable or may have specific learning needs
Relevant training experience and qualification(s) Experience of working with vulnerable Adults Qualified or with the potential and willingness to work towards
ESW Communication Level 2
AON Level 2
Basic / Essential skills practitioners Award L3 or equivalent and have a full driving licence with use of own vehicle
