Permanent Full Time Monday to Friday

The role will primarily be remote with national travel  –  Northwich, Crewe and London required at least once a week.

Our client are one of the UK’s leading apprenticeship providers, now have an exciting opportunity for talented professionals to come and join our team in the position of Curriculum & Performance Manager (Automotive / Engineering).  Responsibility for the day to day delivery of the curriculum including management of learning coaches, ensuring implementation and effective operation of end to end learner journey processes, curriculum design and innovation, learner progression and quality of provision.

• Line management of learning coaches, ensuring caseloads / cohorts are in line with learner to staff ratio
• Conducting monthly performance management reviews based on learner experience and quality outcomes
• Ensuring effective CIAG, initial assessment and induction for all learners, to ensure learners are on the right programme and level, and where relevant have the range within the job role to achieve their chosen programme
• Closely scrutinise and monitor retention of learners, taking action in line with the retention strategy where learners are identified as at risk of leaving programme
• Develop and embed an innovative curriculum with supporting schemes of work and learning resources, ensuring these are evaluated continually and adjusted based on feedback that lead to achievement rates
• Hold quarterly standardisation meetings to ensure the intent, implementation and impact of the learner journey processes is consistent across the curriculum, and learning coaches have an opportunity to share good practice
• Co-ordinate and plan assessments, exams and EPA across the curriculum ensuring invigilation is organised and exams are conducted in line with the awarding organisations requirements

This role is offered on a permanent, full time (37 hours per week) basis.

We are looking for candidates who hold or working towards their Level 4 Certificate in Education (level 4) or equivalent

Do you have Vocational experience in one curriculum area of responsibility (L3) Automotive or Engineering
Maths and English at L2 or equivalent
Experience of creating and delivering high quality learning programmes
Ability to multi-task and handle a fast-paced work environment
A willingness and ability to work unsocial hours (eg: occasional evening work) to meet the needs of the business as required
A willingness to travel to meet the needs of the business
Excellent leadership skills and ability to support the development of teams

Do you have any of the following ? 

A management qualification
Knowledge and understanding of relevant quality assurance systems particularly the education inspection framework
Experience of delivering multi-site / national learning programmes. Good IT skills
Evidence of problem identification and solving abilities
