The Role
As a Hair and Barbering Skills Coach, you’ll teach, coach, and guide learners through their apprenticeship journey, helping them develop the knowledge, skills, and behaviors they need to succeed. Using a blend of in-person and virtual sessions, you’ll deliver engaging training, monitor progress, and support learners to achieve their goals, including preparation for End-Point Assessment (EPA).

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging training aligned with apprenticeship standards 
• Support learners in achieving English, Maths, and ICT functional skills at Level 2.
• Conduct regular progress reviews and visits to ensure development and success.
• Collaborate with line managers to provide learners with the guidance they need.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, standards, and best practices.
• Promote safeguarding, British values, and learner well-being throughout the programme.
• Handle administration tasks and compliance within set deadlines.

What We’re Looking For

• Qualifications: Level 3 qualification in your field + Assessor Award (D32/33 or TAQA) and/OR Teaching Certificate PTLLS/CTLLs/DTLLS/PGCE/Cert Ed
• Experience: Apprenticeship delivery, assessment, and knowledge of government-funded training ideally.
• Skills: Strong communication, IT proficiency, and the ability to motivate and guide learners.
• Mindset: Self-motivated, organized, and passionate about developing others.
