Reporting to the Contract Manager you will leading, motivating and developing a team of Assessors to drive performance and quality of delivery across all learning programmes in line with contract compliance, ensuring high quality teaching, learning and assessment for all learners.\u00a0 You will be responsible for ensuring the company\u2019s Internal Quality Assurance and Performance Management processes are rigorous and lead to continuous improvement, improved learner satisfaction and success rates across the team.\u00a0 Ideally you will have experience of co-ordinating EQA visits and been involved with inspections.\u00a0 You will need to have Health and Social Care, as well as management experience and be a qualified assessor and have your IQA qualification. <\/p>\n
Duties and Responsibilities: <\/p>\n
Specific <\/p>\n
\t Responsible for motivating and developing a team of Assessors\u00a0 to ensure learners have a positive learning experience and KPIs are achieved
\n\t Responsible for developing a team of Assessors to improve the quality of delivery across all learning programmes
\n\t Responsible for managing sampling and verification activities to improve the progression and achievement of learners
\n\t Responsible for ensuring that all IQA activities continually meet the needs of the learners, exceed the requirements of Awarding Organisations, Welsh Government, Estyn and our client
\n\t Manage an ongoing cycle of standardisation meetings for Assessors to ensure best practice is shared across all sectors
\n\t Manage delivery models and other resources to embed a consistent and standardised approach to delivery
\n\t Accountable for ensuring literacy and numeracy are embedded throughout the learning programme
\n\t Accountable for ensuing Assessors\u00a0 embed the cross cutting themes of Safeguarding\/Prevent, ESDGC,\u00a0 Wales the Language and Culture, Equality & Diversity and Health & Safety\/Well-being
\n\t Complete regular sampling of Assessor activity to ensure consistency across the team <\/p>\n
Ideally you will have ; <\/p>\n
Experience and a proven track record of leading a team of IQAs <\/p>\n
Experience of co-ordinating EQA visits <\/p>\n
Been actively involved in an Estyn Inspection <\/p>\n
