With over forty years of experience in the electricity industry, the individual began their career as an Apprentice Electrician with Swalec. In their most recent role, they successfully managed a team of Assessors and Team Managers, overseeing the Power Networks Apprenticeship (PNC) as the lead Internal Quality Assurer (IQA).

Their qualifications include City & Guilds certifications in Electrical 236 Part 1 and 236 Part 2, as well as expertise in electrical networks (C4) from SWALEC. They hold various editions of the I.E.E Wiring Regulations and NEBSM Supervisory Management certifications, along with a Certificate and Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration.

Furthermore, the individual has earned teaching and assessing qualifications such as PTLLS (level 3) and DTLLS (Level 5), A1 Assessor Award (level 3), and Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Process & Practice (QCF – level 4).
